FEATURES

Copper Busbar:

In electric power distribution, a Copper Busbar  is a metallic strip or bar. Which housed inside switch gear, panel boards, or bus way  for local high current power distribution. Hence Bus Bar are also used to connect high voltage equipment at electrical switch yards. And low voltage equipment in battery banks. Furthermore they are generally sufficient enough to be supported in air by insulated pillars. These features allow sufficient cooling of the conductors, and they ability to tap in at various points without creating a new joint.

How does it Work:

An electrical busbar is defined as a conductor or a group of conductor used for collecting electric power from the incoming feeders and distributes them to the outgoing feeders. In other words, it is a type of electrical junction in which all the incoming and outgoing electrical current meets.

GENERAL:

In Brief a busbar may either be supported on insulators, or else insulation may completely surround it. In fact Bus bars are protected from accidental contact either by a metal earthed enclosure or by elevation out of normal reach. . Bus bars may be enclosed in a metal housing, in the form of bus duct or busway.

Busbars may be connected to each other and to electrical apparatus by bolted, clamped, or welded connections. Busbars are metal bars used to carry large amounts of current. Often made of copper or aluminum.

If you hang from a busbar with any part of your body touching nothing will happen. But when you touch busbar while standing the ground, there is a contact between the line to ground and it will create a L-G fault. Than you will receive a heavy electric shock before the CB trip and it is enough to cause death.

Dowel Bars

The Dowel Bars is a cylindrical metal round bars or rod, also usually made from wood and plastic. Dowel rods are often cut into short lengths called dowel barsDowel Bars  also call as dowel pins which are commonly used as structural reinforcements, divers applications, including steel structure, concrete and other numerous applications.

These bar are smooth round bars which mainly serve as load transfer device across concrete joints. They are placed across transverse joints of concrete pavement to allow movement to take place. Where movement is purposely designed for longitudinal joints, it can be adopted.

General:

In automobiles, dowels are used when precise mating alignment is required, such as in differential gear casings, engines, and transmissions. Bolts in a bolted joint often have an important function as a dowel, resisting shear forces. For this reason, many bolts have a plain unthreaded section to their shank.

The main function of the dowel bars is to transfer the wheel load from one slab to the adjacent slab through the shear and bending moment. It can be embedded on both the slabs, and on one slab there is a dowel cap which provides space for the bar to occupy it when there is expansion in both slabs.

Fasteners Accessories.

Fasteners Accessories and Assemblies are related to Oil & Gas. Some of the item like wood screws, drywall and assembly screws, joint fastenersscrew cover caps and more. They are use Structural buildings, Constructions sides or at other places. MF Fastener Industries also stock all kind of fastener accessories and assemblies as per ISO DIN and BS standard. Which include bolts & Nuts, Washers and other Fastener.

General:

fastener (US English) or fastening (UK English) is a hardware items that joins two or more objects together. Fasteners are used to create non-permanent joints; that is, joints that can be removed without damaging the joining components. Welding is an example of creating permanent joints. Steel fasteners are usually made of stainless steel, carbon steel or alloy steel.

Other methods of joining materials include: welding, soldering, brazing, taping, gluing, cement, or the use of other things. Force may also be used, such as with magnets, vacuum (like suction cups). Such as dowels, or biscuits which can be considered fasteners within the scope of the joint system, although on their own they are not general purpose fasteners.

Furniture supplied in flat pack form often uses cam dowels locked by cam locks. Fasteners can also be used to close a container such as a bag, a box, or an envelope. These kind of items can be keeping together the sides of an opening of flexible material, attaching a lid to a container, etc. Hence there are also special-purpose for closing devices, e.g. a bread clip.

Items like a rope, string, wire, cable, chain, or plastic wrap may be used to join objects; but they are not generally considered as fasteners because they are for common uses.

Meanwhile it is a method of connecting pipes, valves, pumps and other equipment to form a piping system. It also provides easy access for cleaning, inspection or modification. They are usually welded or screwed. Flanged joints are made by bolting together two flanges with a gasket between them to provide a seal. The key types are the welding neck, long welding neck, slip-on, socket weld, lap joint, threaded and blind. In addition to these standard flanges, some special ones exist, called Weldoflange/Nipoflange and Elboflange, swivel flange, expander/reducer flange, and orifice flanges.

Alloy materials (chrome-moly) have higher chrome and molybdenum content than carbon steel. Alloy steel materials suit high temperature and high-pressure applications and improved resistance to corrosion when compared to regular carbon steel grades.

PIPE CLAMPS:

Pipe Clamps used in the support of pipes and equipments are manufactured according to the highest standards of fabrication. A choice of Pipe Hangers, Omega Clamps, Beam Clamps, J and U-Bolts and Threaded Accessories. Hence Clips which are rubber lined, hot dip galvanized universal clips for mounting pipes to the wall or ceiling. It is also known as pipe support, are designed to transfer the load from a pipe to the supporting structures. But the main functions of the pipe hanger and clamp are to anchor, absorb shock, and support a specified load of pipeline.

They are suitable for the fixing of light, medium-weight and heavy pipelines made from different materials. such as suitable clamps with and without sound insulation inserts for the optimum fixing of pipe diameters from 8 to 508 mm, for different thread shapes and for diverse pipeline media. Fire protection and sound protection checks guarantee added safety. Pipe clamps are best suited for edge clamping, because these provide a lot more stability than any other form of clamps. But it lags behind on the fact that it can’t hold the work pieces perpendicularly. There are only two parts basically, the adjustable jaw and the threaded pipe through the jaw. That’s all there is to it

chain is a serial assembly of connected pieces, called links, typically made of metal, with an overall character. Similar to that of a rope in that it is flexible and curved in compression. But linear, rigid, and load-bearing in tension. A chain may consist of two or more links. Chains can be classified by their design, which can be dictated by their use:

  • Those designed for lifting, such as when used with a hoist; for pulling; or for securing, such as with a bicycle lock, have links that are torus shaped, which make the chain flexible in two dimensions (the fixed third dimension being a chain’s length). Small chains serving as jewellery are a mostly decorative analogue of such types.
  • Those designed for transferring power in machines have links designed to mesh with the teeth of the sprockets of the machine, and are flexible in only one dimension. They are known as roller chains, though there are also non-roller chains such as block chain.

We offer a wide range of high quality, marine grade stainless steel and galvanized steel chain with many different diameters to choose from. From long link, to spiked and heavy duty chain, our products are ideal for a range of uses. Including marine, boat mooring and lifting across domestic and commercial use.

Steel D- link / D Shackle, also known as a gyve, is a U-shaped piece of metal secured with a clevis pin or bolt across the opening, or a hinged metal loop secured with a quick-release locking pin mechanism. The term also applies to handcuffs and other similarly conceived restraint devices that function in a similar manner. Shackles are the primary connecting link in all manner of rigging systems, from boats and ships to industrial crane rigging, as they allow different rigging subsets to be connected or disconnected quickly. A shackle is also the similarly shaped piece of metal used with a locking mechanism in padlocks.

Gyve, D-shackles are narrow shackles shaped like a loop of chain, usually with a pin or threaded pin closure. D-shackles are very common and most other shackle types are a variation of the D-shackle. The small loop can take high loads primarily in line. Side and racking loads may twist or bend a D-shackle. The pin is threaded and one leg of the shackle is tapped.

The pin may be captive, which means it is mated to the shackle, usually with a wire. The threads may gall if over tightened or have been corroding in salty air, so a liberal coating of lanolin or a heavy grease is not out of place on any and all threads. A shackle key or metal marlin spike are useful tools for loosening a tight nut.  This is done by looping mousing wire or a nylon zip tie through the hole in the pin and around the shackle body. For pins that have a cross-hole in the threaded end a cotter pin can be used. One disadvantage of wire is that mousing can introduce galvanic corrosion because of material differences; it is especially bad when used in places where the shackle is exposed to air and water.
